Red Prayer Beads

Poem ...Red Prayer Beads

I look out at blue
Streaked with purple hue
And building clouds
Of towering white
At yellow shapes
Skipping their ropes
And red prayer beads
Chanting their hopes

Patriarchal Poem

Patriarchal poem

We had our days
In many ways
We played at this
We won at that
We shot at those
And now no more
They've gone extinct
To heaven's shore
But we press on
To get our way
And not give up
To dawn's new day

Polka Dot Skies

Poem....Polka dot skies

Suits and ties
And polka dot skies
And tall buildings
With many glass eyes

Buy this and sell that
Corporate profits in the fat
They produce it cheaper
Tell the investors that

And so we charge on our merry way
Directors and investors in our sleigh
Shiny shoes, suits and ties
And fat briefcases full of lies

Intent

Poem....Intent

And in the end
When our triumps are counted
And our trophies are displayed
And diplomas are hung
What matters in Life
Did you help someone else achieve
Did you help save a species
Did you share your knowledge to help others
For when you say your last goodbye
You live on through your Intent

Raven talk

Poem...Raven talk

Oh listen humankind
You can be so blind
We speak in throaty chirps
Warning of times to come
We sit on fences and tombstones
And gather for darkness fall
And you sit by your fireplaces
And look at the tube
Ignoring our cries
Of extinction for us all

Ice

Poem...Ice

We rush into the future
As if we have a grasp
On the games this Planet plays
Of limitations on things life gives
Of Gods to rescue us to streets of Gold
Of things to burn and life to conquer
And when the Planet has had enough
She will cover us with ice
For another million years

If

Poem ....If

If we were bees
We would love the trees
And spread our glisteny wings
And fly into the breeze

We would fly with butterflys
And share the gold and red
We would befriend the plants
And help their pollen spread

Can we come together
Like those wonderful bees
And finally find our place
Among the birds and the trees?

There is great hope
Stirring in the air
That we can all come together
That we can all care
