Take me back
To a Place I once knew
Down that old road
A Place with few
Friends distanced
As I grew
Seeking my place
Among Places new
Once again
Visiting my past
Walking past those Places
Many did not last
On I go
If only in my mind
Looking for myself
Far, far behind

Wrapping My Soul
I wrap my Soul
Around a Creek
Away from from Headings
Humans now seek
A Catipillar crawls
On a Fallen leaf
Seeking a Future
Toward Nature's relief
More of This
More of That
On our tapping Shoes
And tipping our Hat
Life moves on
Some very small, some large
Adapting and accommodating
And we left on Our Extinction Barge
Some reach for Space
Some reach for Tech
But in the End
Nature says "What The Heck"
