All Curled up
Inside my hat

Dreaming
Of your next big catch
In your fenced backyard
A sneaky rat in for your  snatch

You jumped when awakened Aware of no hat
On to the food bowl
Soon to hunt for sneaky rat

 That damn Cat

Where is it at

Out in a storm

With some damn rat

Or hiding under

A cozy sofa

Awaiting a treat

Waiting to curl around  our feet

Not to be found

Where it usually rule

It awaits an umbrella

While hiding beside the pool

Oh well

Let us get soaking wet

While from Damn Cat

Ugly meows we get

Now or never

Do it now

No time to play
