Poem....Kind Words
To say a kind word
In midst of anger
Will it be heard
Or become a stranger
It lies there unnoticed
That kind utterance
But it glows and grows
With new exuberance
It gets larger
Message gets clear
I'm here to help you
To take on this fear
Anger changes
Takes on a new face
Distrust displaces
Kindness takes place
We move forward
Leave fear behind
Words that were spoken
Words that were kind
