Poem .... But Not Today
It will happen
But not today
When words are spoken
Of yesterday
Those times as one
We looked ahead
Our separate worlds
Not yet to dread
Still it will come
It's on the way
We drift to the stars
But not today
Our minds hold tight
Those words in our heart
As days slip past
This journey we chart
That feeling we know
Is heading our way
Of walking alone
But not today
