"Launched Poem"
I launched a poem
Into the air
And it landed
I know not where
In the crowd
Or in the church
Or in a tree
Does it lurch
How many eons
Or to what place
With it's poetic wings
Drifting in space
Perhaps it's reading
By aliens not understood
But why should we care
We've long turned to wood
