Poem....Letting go

Together as one
Thoughts intertwined
Two wings in flight
Never only one
But that day has come
As surely as storms must end
As surely as rose petals must fall
Our paths in different lights
Clinging to what was one
But knowing one isn't so
Knowing tis time to let go
